The rapeseed ( Brassica campestris ) belongs to the family of brassicas , the same as rapeseed.
It is a plant with intense yellow flowers and round brown seeds that grows in temperate climates and is widespread throughout Europe.

THE rapeseeds are composed for the 20% from proteins , for about 35% from fats and for the 10% from fibers .

The oil extracted from rapeseeds is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega 3 and omega 6), especially the content of Omega 3 is very precious because it is rarer and among oilseeds , rapeseed is second only to flaxseed.
